Ønske is Norwegian for "wish, want, desire." It was founded after a trip to Denmark, Sweden, and Germany in July 2014. 

Ønske's founder was at a crossroads in her life, and rather than continue with the corporate daily grind, she wished she could do something that she loved that didn't require wearing business attire. 

It was after browsing though the endless modern furniture stores in Copenhagen, that she decided that she would create a store that blended her love of buying antiques, with her love of selling things, adding her deep appreciation for all that is Mid-Century and Danish Modern to exclusively sell vintage pieces from the 1950s-1970s.
